Well there is Paul, the manager of the Catalina AZ BrakeMax. Always polite, accommodating to someone like me who knows a bit about cars (as a woman) and I do ask a LOT of questions prior to okaying the work needed. He has been very thorough in explaining what has been done at my request, valid suggestions of what needs to be addressed at that time and suggestions of the next item that will need to be addressed in the future, The following is what truly had me sold to return:
My car has 35,000 miles on it and spent its first 4.5 years being driven under severe conditions (city driving). She is now 5. The Manufacturer kept strongly recommending the 30K mi service thru mail and e-mail. Hard sells suck! I move here, take it to this particular BrakeMax and this is what I am told by the mechanic Cliff. “ we checked your car over to see about needing the 30K service. The only thing I suggest is a Fuel Injection Service. The rest of the engine looks great. You don’t need anything else at this time.” Although I chose to wait on the fuel injectors, he did not once push me to have it done right then and there. I doubt the actual manufacturer would’ve done the same. Yes I will be back.
