I was disappointed that my car was returned to me with a leaking washer fluid reservoir:

I brought my car for an oil change and based on what I knew my washer fluid reservoir did not have a leak. After I paid and received the key, before driving the car, I noticed it was leaking. I went back in and shared what I saw. The person in charge said, "oh, I know the problem, there is a crack in it." He walked with me out and said "you still can use it, it is a small job." I said, "it is not a matter of small or big, it will get empty overnight." He kept saying, "you still can use it." and then he added, "I even have already ordered it for you."

My question is that if he knew there was a crack in the reservoir and if he had already ordered the part, why he did not say so before giving me the keys? Why he did not put it in the report?
