I returned to Burtonsville, MD after a two year absence and came back to Briggs Chaney Animal Hospital with a new feral cat, who had adopted me. I was able to learn the cat had been chipped, and there were services they brought to my attention, that I didn't need. More importantly, the cat was handled so gently, he didn't even know when he got his shots. Above their professional capabilities, the doctor and support staff were personable and engaging.

Since we adopted our dog in 2004, we have taken her to Briggs Chaney Animal Hospital and have been pleased with the care and services they provide.

Dr. Robbins is great with yearly checkups and shot updating. She listens to your animal concerns and makes sure that the animal gets the right treatment. If other sources are needed for help she directs you to them.

The staff at Briggs Chaney Animal Hospital is polite and caring.

Terrible after treatment experience . Within 12 hours after you injected our cats with a teriod peniclin shot which you didnot even check yo see if the cat allegic or not , he w nt into a cardiac arrest wher he spent the night at yhe hospital . The cardiac specialists believe that your shot cats sed the cardiac arrest

I have a stray/feral cat that has adopted me for at least the last seven years. She required some medical attention and in that she was not a "personal pet" so to speak, I was unsure of where to take her. The staff at Briggs Chaney Animal hospital were very welcoming and caring. They provided this cat with good care so that she could live a better and more comfortable life.

I really like this place a lot thanks to the good workers and service. However, my feedback would be on the shabbiness of the place. The floors are ancient, peeling up and dirty. The old wood front door has dirty fingerprints all over it. The metal swinging doors are rusted. The wall and trim paint looks like it hasn't been done in years, and the blue is depressing. Some vinyl wood-look floors (I highly recommend Allure flooring from Home Depot) would really give this place a fresh look. It's honestly the ONLY thing I don't like about the place. Makes me feel like it's not clean in there. Hard to ignore that.

Our dog Rhea honestly loves coming to the vet, and I know its because of the kind and welcoming staff waiting to greet her and meet with her when we come in!!
