My last visit to Broadway Medical Clinic for my annual exam was the worst experience I have ever had at the clinic. I haven't decided whether it is a "BMC thing", or whether it is a result of now becoming a Medicare supplemental insurance patient. In either case, the visit no longer had a personal feel, even though I have been a patient for many, many years. Having another staff member in the tiny exam room to enter information into the computer is obtrusive and disconcerting. I felt my PCP was only there to check off the boxes of information that needed to be asked, and I got the feeling that if I did have any specific medical issues to discuss, they would require a separate appointment. Definitely not excited to return.
