About

After graduating from the University of Oregon Medical School in 1932, Robert Greene began his career as a general practitioner. He opened his own practice in the growing Hollywood District of Northeast Portland. Five years later in 1937, he moved to 4212 N.E. Broadway to what was to become the Broadway Medical Clinic. More than 75 years later, at the same location, the Clinic continues to care for families and individuals of all ages-from infants to seniors and everyone in between.

All of the physicians who have practiced at Broadway Medical Clinic have always believed the patient comes first. This individualized care has been the hallmark of the Clinic over the past seven-plus decades.

Always have a great experience at Broadway Med Clinic. I've been going there for 30 years for primary care and have never had any complaints. Fast courtious service.

I was able to find plenty of parking nearby. My only slow part was checking in to my appointment. For some reason, that took way too long with the gal; I didn't wait in line at all for that. But once checked in, I had barely sat down in the waiting room before my name was called. And I had barely gotten into the exam room and gotten prepared before the doctor appeared. She was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and explained the procedure well to me. I was really impressed with her "bedside" manner.

First time with a new primary doctor but it was a horrible experience. My primary doctor doesn’t seem to care about me. Example what do you do for a living? When I answered she laughed and look elsewhere .... why ask when you don’t care and don’t judge people. I am proud to be a doggie daycare and hotel owner. I have a 5000 sq ft facility in which I take pride in. When I asked if I could check my sugar and cholesterol level, she asked “why?” Seriously???
Then I asked about flu shot. I told her the last time I received a flu shot I was sick for a whole week right afterward. “Never heard such thing” was her response. That was it and doesn’t care if I want a flu shot or not. First and last time with this primary. You don’t have to care a lot but at least show some caring for a patient. Yes, I might not be knowledgeable when it comes to medical but I would appreciate a little more respect.
