WELCOME TO BSD NEPHROLOGY AND HYPERTENSION. We practice Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Hypertension. Internal Medicine is general medicine for adults whether in the office or in the hospital setting. We also see patients with kidney diseases and difficult to manage hypertension. We diagnose kidney disease, educate the patient and family, help the patient make the necessary adjustments in both lifestyle and medication to slow the progression of kidney disease. Once the disease has progressed we offer all modalities of kidney replacement therapy including transplant, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, home dialysis. All our physicians are trained at top US medical schools and are board certified. We are affiliated with Hackensack University Medical Center and Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. I was a patient of Dr. Rozy Joseph’s for many years but unfortunately she is no longer seeing general medical patients. Therefore, I am now seen by one of the two nurse practitioners. Although they are very nice, I cannot say for sure if they are competent since I have no information about them. I will be leaving the practice as I sadly feel that Dr. Joseph has abandoned me as my doctor. I think Dr. Joseph was a wonderful doctor and if you are lucky enough for her to continue seeing you then you are in good hands but I cannot recommend the practice

I love this office and have been coming since I was a child, but I was a little disappointed in my cleaning this time. It lasted about 5 minutes that was it. I have veneers and usually the hygienist will clean under them and that was not done this time. Water pik was not used and either was the air.
