My daughter's therapist at Bay State made my daughter feel heard, and was always responsive. With this compassionate yet firm approach my daughter recovered from her injury and got her life back. I was glad to be able to "outsource" this type of care for my daughter, as I had grown a bit dismissive of her complaints, which had started to seem psychosomatic. Bay State gave her a space to complain week after week--and heal. My daughter's therapist really knew what she was doing. I always felt my daughter was in good, knowledgeable hands. Looking at my daughter back in action now, I see that I was right!

Have 3 tears in my rotator cuff, and was told surgery was my best option. I asked about physical therapy, and was told I could try it, but don't expect too much. I had been to Bay State Physical Therapy twice before, after back surgery and ankle surgery, and was pleased with the outcome, so went back for my shoulder. They worked with me to develop the muscles around the rotator cuff to compensate for the tears; and, much to my surprise, I am now improved to a point that I am no longer considering surgery. Would highly recommend Bay State Physical Therapy.

Competent, friendly staff, abundantly cheerful. They know their craft and are very careful to ensure the exercises they recommend are appropriate to your needs.

The entire staff is first rate, but I do want to give a special shout out to John, who was my therapist. His exercise regimen has helped and continues to help, me.

Very helpful and very friendly staff that seemed to actually care about YOU the person and not just treat you as a "number". I worked primarily with Jo and Cheryl and have great respect for them both.
