There was a mix up in my initial appointment. When setting it up, I had requested both the new patient exam and a cleaning, so they said they would schedule extra time to do both. On the day of the exam, however, part way into the preliminary x-rays and photos, when I asked about the cleaning, they said that I would need to schedule that for another day since they hadn't planned for it. I was quite disappointed and expressed this to the x-ray technician who passed it along to Dr. Carol when she came in for the checkup. Dr. Carol's response was what you hope to get in a situation like this. Without missing a beat, she said, "no problem, we'll take care of it," and proceeded to clean my teeth herself. I was very impressed how Dr. Carol adapted her schedule on the fly to address my concerns as a patient.
