I was disappointed today for a cleaning and checkup. I asked that my xrays be done another day simply because my insurance is self paid right now and it is not the best. I still expected to have my mouth examined. I usually have a woman dentist come check on me and she is very personable and thorough. She did two veneers for me and she was fantastic. I cannot remember her name for the life of me right now and I am wondering if she is still with the practice. I am use to a dentist coming in and sitting down and really looking at my teeth. Normally they would take a tool that is kind of heavy and check each tooth, examine your tongue, ask if I have any problems. From there they would make suggestions or give advice etc. Dr Hadidi did ask if I had any problems and I told her about a chipped tooth. The tech mentioned to her that I grind my teeth which I have for a long time. Dr Hadidi informed me about a bite splint which I appreciated but I am not in a position to get one right now because of my insurance. I am currently looking for a job so that is why I wanted to delay the X-rays and therefore would not be getting a bite splint or really too concerned right this moment. Overall, I just did not seem like I got a thorough exam. She opened my mouth and looked at the chip but that was about it. I am not one to complain or right reviews and I certainly do not want to put a review on google since in the past I have been happy. With that being said the last year the tech I had barely scrapped my teeth to clean them. It wasn't happy at all but I didn't say anything and that is my fault so I felt I should say something today. I have a friend that needs an implant and I recommended your practice but I feel it is hit or miss lately with getting a good tech and/or dentist. I also drive 30 minutes to come to your practice when I did have a dentist closer that I didn't feel was a good as yours. I am sorry to complain but I felt I should let you know. Thank you!
