It isnt often in today's service based world that what you see, or are promised, is what you get, especially in the highly competitive world of Air Handling Systems, with a major/minor in Hospital Grade Ultraviolet Installation/Maintenance. My advice? Go with the Experts at Cape Fear A/C & Heating Co. Inc..

Jeff..my technician that came out..was very helpful. The repairs were completed very quickly and I was told exactly what was needed to be done. On a side note, don't buy a Trane Gas Pack. It has a part that will rust within 3 years and need to be replaced. Part is covered by warranty, but not labor. Plus Cape Fear A/C will also charge you a service diagnostic fee and of course the labor fee, about $330 bucks.

Always great service. On time, efficient, knowledgeable and thorough. AJ and Julie at the office are always polite and caring. I have three homes they do and have done for several years. I will continue to use Cape Fear.

Great service

The price was not padded as some companies. The men worked well and were here on time. There was a problem and system didn’t run when completed. A specialist came back the next day. I believe wires were out of place. I wish they would have swept up afterwards.

The representative on the phone was awesome. They listened to what we asked and was quick to set up an appointment.

The Tech showed up and had an attitude. Almost as if we were interfering with his day.

He was asked to service a 2nd unit/heater while he was at our house. After he was done and provided a report that everything was working as it should.

Later in the evening it was discovered that the 2nd unit we had serviced would not turn on.

We called (after hours) and the answering service was awesome.

They forwarded our information to the on all tech.

He called us within minutes. We discussed what was happening and why the tech was at our house earlier in the day.

The in call tech was willing to come out (it was after 9 pm).

We didn’t feel that this warranted an after hours service call and we all agreed that the original tech would come back the next day (since he knows exactly what was done).

When the original tech arrived, he again had the attitude that he was being annoyed. He became a bit condescending after checking the unit and said it was functioning properly and there isn’t anything wrong.

It is funny how it wouldn’t turn on the night before.... but all of a sudden upon his arrival and inspection of the malfunctioning unit, it begins to work properly.

We have used Cape Fear for service in the past and purchased a new mini split unit from them. All past interactions were positive and we felt as though they appreciated our business.

However, this last tech needs to check himself and be humble when he arrives at a customers home.

The install crew arrived early and went right to work replacing our outside unit. They had no complaints about having to move the old and new units about 100 feet across our lawn without any damage to the lawn. They faced and overcame the challenge of having to reroute our thermostat control wiring. They were very professional in all aspects from installation, cleanup and training me on the idiosyncrasies of the new wireless/digital thermostat. It was a pleasure to have Cape Fear AC and Heating do the work at our home. It was also gratifying to adjust the temperature up a couple of degrees from downstairs using my phone when the wife said she had a little chill. Thanks again!
