Firstly, I enjoy my stylist and I love my hair. I have been a client for over a year now and haven't been disappointed until yesterday when I was truly disappointed and surprised by the $349 bill, which included two products ($21.99 & 24.99). This is a staggering amount especially because that doesn't include the tip. I had a dimensional color ($90) highlights ($160), cut and blow dry ($50). To make matters more painful, I was unable to schedule a Saturday appointment for late September or early October for follow up (6-8 weeks out). Apparently the stylist had no Saturday openings, yet there appeared to be little effort put into finding a Saturday appointment for me. I felt as if they didn't want me there on a Saturday for some reason. As a self employed person, I do not get paid time off and I generally work until 8pm. This means I need to add my hourly earnings to the cost of my hair appointment, if it is not on a Saturday. I did mention this at the time of check out. I felt incredibly disappointed at the general lack of respect for my hard earned money. I did leave with an appointment for September, but after a long discussion with my spouse I have decided to seek services at an alternative salon. Again, my hair looks great, but I cannot justify the higher than average expense.

I can not recommend this auto shop more. On December 6th, when they weren't even open, Joe opened his garage to help me change my tire that rapidly losing air. After changing the tire, my car would not start; the starter had stopped working. All this while on a trip from NYC to Amherst with my girlfriend's grandparents in tow, in the rain. Graciously, Joe offered me a loaner car to get to our destination. I returned on the 8th, with a new starter, patched tires, and no charge for the loaner. Joe literally saved the day and was beyond gracious and accommodating. Again, I can't recommend this place more.
