About
Dr. Zimmerman has been in Apache Junction since 1976 and has several ties to the community. She is a graduate of the M.I.T., worked as a Genetic Engineer at the University of Arizona prior to attending the Ohio State University where she earned her degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She and her family attend church, volunteer at the local food bank with her kids and volunteers at Peralta Trails Elementary School to teach the children about veterinary medicine.

I waited nearly 3months after making my 9:00 appointment. By 9:15 I was handed a medical sheet to complete. It was someone else’s medical history. When I finally met the woman to clean my teeth, do an exam and X-rays, I was very impressed with her communication skills and time she took to review my exrays, how she explained my options after she recommended #2 tooth be removed. She said she would email me helpful exrays to share with person who will do the operation to remove my tooth. My son and I struggled to find the right pediatric dentist. You’d assume any kids dentist would be good with kids, but we found out after multiple office visits without getting even an X-ray done. One of his occupational therapist suggested Dr.Welch to me, as her daughter has DS and he was patent and kind. His office got me in within days. And the experience was great for both of us.
