First, I need to be sure to say that I would rate my overall experience at a 4.5 out of 5! However, I'm disappointed concerning my appt for an impression. I felt that the young woman, very sweet, was less then attentive to my comfort .
While I understand that we all have lapses in attentiveness, working with folks in such a vulnerable position, one would need to be xtra concerned about patient comfort. I did make mention of my concerns at check out. Please be sure to periodically actually engage the patient, check in with them, offer them a mouth rinse directly after impressions.
Jan, I am sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience in my office. Unfortunately full mouth Impregum impressions are not the most wonderful things to experience. They are gagging and leave a horrible after taste, which rinsing only makes worse. We try to make every visit as enjoyable as possible but sometimes we do have to do unpleasant procedures.
