Dr. was great. Front desk was seemingly lazy and incompetent. I was handed a post-it note at check out with some numbers and was told to call my insurance to see if they would cover my orthotics. I was then instructed to call back to let the office know. So I did as requested and performed the front offices task for them and called my insurance provider and then called the office back the very next day and told them to order my orthotics. This was early November. Today, December 23, I called to check on my orthotics that I was told would only take a week or two to find out that "we never sent your orthotics off Mr. Hames because we were waiting for you to call us back." Maybe if I was not the one performing their duties, this would not have fell through the cracks. Now here I am almost 2 months later with a lingering achilles issue and I still do not have my orthotics. Once my orthotics do arrive and are paid for, I can guarantee that I will not be returning as a client nor will anyone that asks me for a recommendation.

I have looked into this further and agree with you that it is our responsibility to verify benefits for our patients. Sometimes it can be difficult to get through to the insurance companies promptly and therefore necessary for us to call you back with the information obtained. I believe our front office person was trying to be courteous and give you the option to contact them yourself rather than you wait at our office. This is not our normal protocol and be assured we have reviewed our normal procedure with all our employees. It is our hope that you allow us a second chance to provide care for you.
