I was treated with a laser for sun spots by my eyes, and was burnt badly. I now not only have two sun spots left that were overlooked, but a red burn scar too! I went back to see if anything could be done to repair this new damage, and was given a cream, and told 'it'll fade eventually'. I was not impressed with their lack of communication. Very little was actually said, as if they thought if they ignored the problem it would go away, and I was never even apologized to.

Was seen at your clinic. Service at the front desk was excellent. Professional group up front. The doctor who saw me was s different story. No bedside manners, then prescribe a medication for skin problems which made my problems worse after about a week of using medication.

Was not prescribed the right medication. When I was seen at the VA hospital, the doctor there knew exactly the medication to prescribe, and it worked right after a few days. Unfortunately, the VA is so backed up, so I thought to take advantage of insurance coverage I have. Well, the result is my experience in your clinic.

Mom's appointment today was with Susan Duffy, P.A. and Brianna, Nursing Assistant. Mom has Alzheimers which makes medical appointments difficult. These two professionals gave us generously of their time and talents: we received more medical help than we had hoped for. They understood the difficulty of bringing Mom to another appointment and so they did all they saw was needed. Mom was well-treated and this is where we will come if another need arises. Thanks so much

I had a very negative experience at Cascade Eye and Skin Centers. I went in to get a perscription for glasses and was unhappy with the service. First of all, I didn't witness anyone wash or sanitize their hands before touching my face or working with me, including the eye doctor. The eye doctor did however, washed his hands after working with me which consisted of a quick rinse. The assistant who dilated my eyes was very unfriendly, impatient, and rough. Before even telling me he was going to dilate my eyes he was already touching my face and tilting my head back. I had to stop him and ask what kind of drug he was administering into my eyes, what was going to happen, and the side effects. He responded (with a mumble) to me briefly with only the name and AFTER he already started dropping it into my eyes (which got all over my eyes because I was still waiting to hear about the drug). Working in the nursing field, I know he administered them improperly and I was frustrated with the care I was receiving, it all seemed rushed, informal, and very unprofessional. I didn't even get a chance to speak up because before I knew it he left! My frustration only enhanced when the eye doctor finally saw me and was more focus on informing his assistant about what he saw versus communicating with me. As I was walking out of the exam room, the receptionist came up to me and grabbed my paper without asking me if I had any further questions. I had to stop her and ask where I can put my contacts back in. She pointed me into a room and well, no wonder nobody was washing their hands! There was no visible sink or hand sanitizer. I left with nobody saying a word to me, there was even a group of assistants who were standing in a circle talking and they just watched me leave without saying or asking anything. Not even a smile! I understand it was a Friday and people are going home but the care of your patients is your main priority.

I will be looking into other clinics and will not be coming back.

The only pro was that because everything was so informal and rushed I was seen quickly and the entire appointment lasted about an hour and a half, the estimate length of time the receptionist told me.

I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY PUT UP WITH ME...SUCH A CUT UP. THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT AND I LOVE MY DOCTOR. SHE IS SUCH A GREAT PERSON, AND HER SUPPORT PEOPLE ARE THE NICEEST. THEY DIDN'T EVEN THROW ME DOWN THE STAIRS THIS TIME, AND PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE, CAUSE I LOVE TO CHAT....PROBABLE TOO MUCH.

I HAVE TWO GREAT DOCTORS NOW. I REALLY LOVE THEM BOTH, ERR, ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL OF COURSE.

We have received top notch care at the eye center. Our needs have been met immediately with great care for emergencies on several occasions, getting us in ASAP. Dr. Dalhauser always provides excellent care. The appointment desk has always made an effort to make convenient appointment dates and times. Dr. Dalhauser called me on a Sunday night when I had an emergency and got me in early the next day.
