I really loved that I was offered wine or a mimosa upon arrival - that was a nice touch! Somehow I missed that when booking my appointment (which I did online), so I didn't have any time to enjoy it. The robs and slippers were very nice, and the bathrooms were beautiful. I didn't love the waiting area - it seemed somewhat awkward that the chairs were in a circle, so you sat there in your rob staring at other people in their robes. A fireplace or something to look at would have been nice? My therapist was overall really good and experienced. I was a little upset however when I went to pay and she told the receptionist that I had upgraded to a deep tissue. Not only did I not upgrade, but we had a discussion about how I had a baby recently and it had been a while since I had my last massage, so deep tissue would probably be a little too intense for me. She even tried to go deep on my head/neck, and I told her that it was too much. She backed off, but I kind of felt that she was just trying to get the upgrade in despite my wishes. Perhaps it was just a miscommunication. Also, kind of a silly thing, but the lights in the hallway are WAY to bright. It kind of killed any bit of relaxation I was feeling when I left the room. Oh, and one more thing while talking about the room - it was TINY! So tiny that there was hardly any place to put my drink (not enough for both my water AND wine so I had to choose), and I even had to tuck my sandals under the massage bed so that my therapist wouldn't trip over them. It was also super hot in there - I had to have her turn the heated blanket off! I did enjoy the time away and will probably try it again, but there were definitely little things that could have made my experience a lot better.
