He seems to be doing a bit better now, still will be a bit before the shot he was given takes the full effect. Was only recently, and will take a month to fully work, but tried a tiny tad of the ointment on his ear to help with his eating, and after a bit he got right hungry and ate what was in his food dish and clearly wanted more. I gave him a bit more, not a lot, as I have hit the point where I was giving him smaller amounts as he has not been eating. He took that right down, so I gave him a bit more, and a larger amount, and he ate that, and seemed happy, and then took a nice nap.
Only problem was after that he took a dump the following morning (today) and it was not quite solid, just a bit moist, which I think is probably an early reaction to the ointment I gave him to help him eat. Hoping that this will change after a while and he will go back to taking a solid dump, as he has developed the habit of dropping them off outside the littler box, instead of inside, ever since Sketchy Kat died.
Not really sure why he started to do that, but that's what he has been doing, and he don't seem to have any intention of changing that habit. Even tried to use 2 litter boxes, but he won't go for it.
Either way, good job, he seems to be improving.
