The Caton Auto Clinic has strived to provide Catonsville's best automotive repair since 1975. We opened as a small six bay Milex Tune and Lube under the ownership of Albert M.C. Steinbach. A year after opening, national headquarters announced that Milex was bankrupt and Albert changed the name to Caton Auto Clinic. In 1983, Albert sold the business to his son, Ken. He has grown it to its present day size of 36 bays making us one of the largest independent automotive repair facilities in the Maryland, D.C., Virginia area. From 1987-1997 we were also the nationwide consultants for all Jiffy Lube centers. What that means is that if any Jiffy Lube center had a technical problem they called us to help them solve it. In 2008, local Carmax stores approached us to perform their Maxcare warranty work because of our reputation of being one of Catonsville's best places for auto repair. The family tradition continues today, in 2010 Ken's son, Scott, assumed a minority ownership role in the company making it three generations in the family business.
