the reception area and people there felt disrespectful towards me. Some random woman behind the desk came out to get my vitals but didn't tell me what was going on what she was doing, when she had to touch me it was uncomfortable. When she took my height she tapped the tool harshly on my head. When she took my blood pressure, she gripped and there my arm in a sling turned it and and left the room all with out looking at me. She out it on wrong. It twisted a large portion of my arm causing pain and bruising, I had to scream out severest times b4 she came back in and blamed me. She also tried to have me sign a form stating I had received and read paperwork that I had not.
The exam room was very dirty and it was uncomfortable having to pile my clothes near where I was seated. The doctor was ok. He did state several examples of how colonoscopy has gotten better since the last time I had one 15 years ago but all the examples were false. He told me 15 years ago I had to drink a gallon of solution and the pictures are better quality and so on. But 15 years ago it was great. The dr had me drink about a quart or less of solution to clear me out with, everything was clean and up to date and I received a glossy picture of my colon. Dr stated I'll receive a photo printer quality. So far not up to par with 15 years ago. It's been over a week so I called in to ask about the costs and insurance coverage. I was told that they are dealing with other patients and will not even call till 2 weeks before. I requested to find out much earlier but am seriously rethinking if I want this group to do my colonoscopy or anything.
