Our mission is to provide our patients with ideal dentistry in a caring and understanding environment. We pride ourselves on being able to listen to our patients needs and help them understand their individual oral healthcare.
My office is dedicated to providing cosmetic, preventive, restorative and emergency dental care as quickly as possible to maintain your comfort. We use the highest quality materials for our restorations and maintain the highest standard in sterilization techniques. We also have taken the extra step of water filtration to all of our dental treatment rooms to eliminate biofilm hazards from the water supply.
The office staff also understands some patients fear dental work; our office motto "We Cater to Cowards," is meant to let patients know we listen to them and try to make them as comfortable as possible to reduce their anxiety. Two issues. First. He is the only dentist to up charge due to Covid protective measures. With 2 kids that adds up fast. I use a different dentist. And there is no charge. Their dad also uses a third dentist. No charge. I’ve asked neighbors as well. No charge. Kinda crappy.
Second. One of the huge oats is very unkind. She rolls her eyes at me and my kids a lot. And has a very harsh tone. I do not feel comfortable with fluoride and ask the kids to spit it out. She contradicts me every time. I asked that my disgusted floss herself because my daughter says it hurts when the hygienist does it. She was so unpleasant my daughter even commented and worried she had done something wrong by asking. Between this woman and the upchargw. We would like to find a new dentist. It is not Angie. The other hygienist. Black hair.
Dr barber is great as a doctor. Just pretty frustrated at the uncharges.
I took a pay cut due to Covid. Not sure why he feels he should be able to pass charges onto patients so he can keep his pay the same when so many are suffering. Kinda smacks of arrogance and greed.
It"s unfortunate that you had a bad experience at my office , My staff and I go to great lengths to make our patients feel welcome. I will definitely address the unprofessional behavior with my staff member.
To address your second issue , the pandemic has affected everyone to some degree. Every decision that I have made did not come lightly . Unfortunately , the infection control fee is necessary to control costs . The fee is not an "upcharge" , it's designed to maintain overhead expenses since dental insurance companies have not raised reimbursement fees to cover the increased cost. It has nothing to do with my pay , in fact I used savings to make sure my employees were paid thru the lock down and haven't had a regular paycheck for months .
My patient's opinions are valuable good and bad , it helps us improve our our quality care.

Knowing I am scared to death of dental work. The staff has been very kind , and has gently been helping me get through all my dental work. You'll are awesome.

I had a broken tooth and the office was able to get me in even when they were ready to close for the day to make sure I was comfortable for the weekend. the staff is very friendly and great to work with.

Dr. Barber and his medical staff are phenomenal. I was in terrible pain and I was able to be seen the next day. My husband and I have been coming to see Dr. Barber for many years and have referred many people that come see him as well. You will definitely be impressed by the caring treatment and work done by Dr. Barber and staff.
