It has been all of 8 months since my last color after relocating from pholadelphia to new haven and I had searched all local hair salons and choose one I thought had the best of reviews. Booked an appointment 5 days before the day I had open and they slotted me in for a cut and color! I'm used to sitting in a chair for 2.5 hours, as I have a lot of hair and it's just a time consuming task. Both Valentina (Colorist) and Kasia (Cut/Stylist) had a keen eye to detail. I showed Valentina a color I was interested in (I know how hard it is to match anything exactly as we all have different hair and my color was a darker brown to ombré but grown out) so I wanted to bring the balayage highlights up. Previously, I would always have a partial done as I usually wear my hair up or down with my side pieces pinned up. Valentina suggested a full set as to give my hair more dimension and have the color stand out. One thing I really liked was that it was suggested to trim my hair prior, as to not be charged for having to use more product and then cut, so this was nice! I did have to ask for the rough cost of color and I'm glad I did, as I wasn't necessarily expecting the amount stated and at the time I did not know the $255. Included the $45. Hair cut - considering for a cut and color back home it would of only costed me about $130. Including tip. I was just a little taken back at first but all good though, the service was great and I was happy with the turn out. It will take me a bit getting used too, as it's been quite awhile since I've had blonde outlining my face. Thanks Chameleon, I'll be back!
