Always feel very well taken care of at Chapel Hill Tire. The work needed to be done is completed in a timely manner and the wait time is usually not long. The atmosphere is very relaxed and attentive. Have never felt that they try to take advantage of what needs to be done by trying to do more repair work than is necessary as some auto dealers often do.

The team is really nice and helpful but my inspection took over twice the amount of time they initially said it would take. I never got any acknowledgment or explanation of why it took so long.
I don't know how long an inspection is supposed to take so I'm not claiming that it was unreasonably slow. Probably an hour and a half is a normal amount of time for the service I got? I wouldn't have been phased if I had been told it would take 3 or 4 hours when I made the appointment!
But if I had been told up front that it would take an hour and a half instead of 45 minutes I would have gone back to work instead of waiting! I even specifically asked what the worst case scenario length of time would be, and was told it would be an hour at the absolute latest. So I sent my ride back to the office and ended up missing an extra hour of work in the middle of the day and looking stupid.
Also I got called the wrong name multiple times even after correcting it in your system (including in the followup email I just got that prompted me to write this review)
In terms of actual mechanical service it was good

I liked the fact that one of the sales people came out and looked at the condition of my tires before determining what would be the best fit and whether or not I needed to purchase two or four tires. He also came out after the tires had been installed to make sure that one of the lights on my dash went out once the work was completed.

I was scheduled for a 7:30 am appointment to have a simple oil change and check engine light fixed. My car was not taken into the garage until 11 am because they said that they were still working on a car from the previous day. If you knew that was the case, why schedule me at 7:30? All you had to do was tell me to come in later, or that 7:30 wasn't an option. I took off work to do this. Also, on my ride home, my check engine light came back on.
