At Clairemont Village Pet Clinic our staff has been performing veterinary medicine and compassionate animal care in the San Diego area for over 15 years. Clairemont Village Pet Clinic offers the San Diego animal community emergency veterinary services in addition to standard medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care. Because we have an in-house pharmacy, lab, radiology facilities, and Intensive Care Unit, our facility enables you to make one stop for your pet's medical care.

My family, canine or otherwise, have been patients of Dr D for over 20 years, and he and his staff are the best in San Diego county. On Saturday, 15JUL17, I phoned the clinic at about 0900 to inquire about a battery of vax my dog needed, thinking I could knock it out quickly if possible. I was invited to stop by the clinic near closing time that afternoon. Drove over, had a quick exam, and we were done. The doctor and staff CARE about your non-human family members. We refuse to take our animals anywhere else, unless to specialist recommended by Doc D. Our extended family and friends are all patients as well. We recommend Clairemont Village Pet Clinic whole-heartedly and enthusiastically.

While I was glad that he could finally be seen after not being called back for a week, I just don’t feel as though the clinic knows their patients very well. The service at the front counter is never overly pleasant and the bill is always different from what I’ve been told on the phone, always more. And then I see an email today with all of the flea control medicine on sale and yet I was just there yesterday and I didn’t get the sale. I just find that not so great. I also came to find out that even though when I adopted my dog I brought all of the paperwork from the adoption place to this office, they have no record of it? All of his shot records etc. I have now disappeared? which then led to him needing to get all new shots. I just don’t think that’s good business.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Diamond and his staff, they are wonderful. Have been going here for many years. We moved farther away and it’s hard to get my pets over there, but other veterinarians never seem to measure up, so we always end up doing the drive to see Dr Diamond. He is truly an extraordinary veterinarian.

Dr Diamond and the staff are great. I had a primary vet I've used for a decade and needed a dental. Because of a visit with a pair of rescues (Bro & Sis) I used the services of CVPC and was very impressed. My vet could not do dentals at this time, so I had no problem going to CVPC. I think my little buddy has a new friend.
