Called because toilet was backed up and was told they had to clean clogged toilet and change toilet ring and got a $550.00 bill. It was on a Sunday so I did know there would be a extra charge. It was my rental and I was out of town. I have changed the toilet seal and replaced the inside flushing system myself before. Easy job took me about 45 minutes my first time doing. I did call to complaint about unfair price and asked for some credit but was refused.

The call was for a cloged toilet which would require driving to your residince first which is chargeable on emergency (Sunday). Upon ariving at the your location there would have to be an investigation and when identifying the clog the tech would then try to locate a clean out if the main line was blocked. If no clean out is avaliable then the water and other debris would have to be removed and disposed of. After pulling the toilet a cable rooter had to be run to clear the line. The machine would then be returned to the truck. the parts brought in and the toilet would then be reset. the test is to make 4-5 flushes with 25 sheets of toilet paper to insure the line is clear. While testing for clear line the work area is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected from possible bacteria from the sewer line. The ticket is then filled out and time is filled in and confirmed by GPS. We are a professional company not a fly by night handi man service.
