$388.00 for blood work prior to teeth cleaning (2 dogs) was unacceptable. I don't mind paying the already high price for cleaning their teeth ($786.00) but I feel taken advantage of for an appointment that was not necessary.

I am very sorry you feel "taken advantage of" that was not our intention. The blood work was quite necessary at the age your dogs are. Doing pre anesthetic blood screening gives us, and you reassurance that your dogs' vital organs are healthy enough to undergo the said procedure. Anesthetic can be very hard on the animals system and we want to ensure your pets safety.

I’m extremely afraid of going to the dentist, I had some really traumatic experiences growing up at dentist/ortho offices so I avoid going if I can. I believe the hygienists names is Robin who helped me, and she was so awesome. She immediately got my nitrous started to help me calm down and when we were doing x-rays, she literally ran back and forth so I wouldn’t have the sensors in my mouth very long.
