I brought my vehicle in since there was several bad slices/cracks in the sidewall of one of my front tires. Obviously it wasn't safe to drive on so I purchased two new tires since the other front tire wasn't in good shape either. I am rather disturbed as to the fact that all four tires had been purchased not even three years prior and had only 20K miles on them. I was told that it looked like it was due to weathering? I'm confused how the one tire was in so poor of shape so quickly and well within warranty. Of course I was told this was not even partially covered and therefore I just purchased two new GoodYear tires....Hopefully these two will last longer. I will have to say however that i believe that I will make the tire purchases for our two newer vehicles somewhere else to hopefully achieve better results.
On another note...I really wished that GoodYear had not shut down their other shop on Los Al Blvd. I used to take our vehicles in all the time for oil changes but now with the one shop trying to cover the work I was always told to drop it off for 4-5 hours since they were backed up most of the time...which is too long of a stretch for me for an oil change.
