Good doctors, very competent reception, friendly and educated techs. Only thing keeping them from 5 stars is how expensive my frames were, but they are great quality.

They have their ducks in a row, and they are very friendly. They just don't have anything in the way of affordable glasses. Their "Value pack" is doable, but the doctor told me i would need a lens coating that isn't available in the value pack.

Honestly it is exponentially cheaper to buy glasses online. I can buy multiple glasses for the cost of one pair of the glasses shown to me at Cockrell.

I do appreciate the professionalism and expertise they offer in deciding a prescription, however.

Wait time for Dr after the girl left was long........

Everyone was welcoming and took their time with my daughter while she changed her mind 30 times when picking out frames!!

Girls are great at explaining what insurance covers

And what out of pocket expense will be. Overall- great place.

Staff is always progressional and courteous! I feel my eye care needs were met more than satisfactorily.

I visited Cockrell Eye Care for an exam so I could update my contact prescription and order more contacts. I had run out of my precious set of contacts and I haven't had time to visit my regular eye care physician. I heard good and bad things about Cockrell, but decided to go ahead and make an appointment. Checking in as a new patient was easy and I was called back quickly. Dr. Millirons was great and all of the techs were great. When it came time to order contacts, staff was a bit pushy that I get a year supply when I didn't want a year supply. Several times I was asked if I understood it would be more expensive in the long run to buy six months at a time. It got a bit annoying as I knew what I was doing. I am not an avid contact wearer and I alternate between contacts and glasses. A six month supply of contacts could last me up to 10 months. Not everyone needs a year supply, even if it is cheaper in the long run. I was a little surprised at what the "New Patient Contact Lens Evaluation" cost was. I knew exactly what brand of contacts I wanted, but it still cost me $60 after insurance for the doctor to look at them and tell me they were okay, even though I already knew that brand worked for me. Other than that, I was please with the visit. It's a good clinic to visit for yearly exams.
