I was satisfied with the doctor's care. He listened to me and explained my diagnosis very clearly, professionally and courteously. However, I was very unhappy with the provider organization. I had to leave 3 voice mail requests for an appointment before anyone returned my call and made the appointment. I then had to spend nearly an hour on my computer filling out an overlong and very difficult to read form required prior to keeping my appointment. On that form (and previously on the phone), I named my dental insurance provider. However, Colorado Oral Surgery did not inform me that they did not accept that insurance until after I had seen the doctor. I have not experienced this kind of treatment from any other medical provider and find it wholly unacceptable. I will inform my referring dentist of this.

I was satisfied with the care given by the doctor who saw me. He listened to me and carefully and courteously explained my diagnosis. However, I was veery unhappy with the provider organization. I left 3 voice mail messages asking for an appointment before anyone at Colorado Oral Surgery returned my call and made an appointment. Then I spent nearly an hour on my computer filling out a form that was very difficult to read and asked for far too much information. Despite stating the name of my insurer during my phone conversation making the appointment and on the too long form that I filled out, nobody told me until after I had seen the doctor that my insurance was not in their network and that I, therefore, was responsible for paying the full cost of the care. I have never before been treated so disrespectfully by a medical provider. Colorado Oral Surgery should have informed me that they did not accept my insurance before I saw the doctor, since I had given them the necessary information. I plan to report this to my referring dentist.

The staff there is great. Always friendly and making sure I was alright and had all my questions answered before I left. I felt very relaxed and welcomed there.

I actually really enjoyed my visit with the Dr. Alleman. He was incredibly friendly and did a great job explaining the risks and benefits of the procedure, so making me feel informed to make the decision for myself. Unfortunately I went through the whole consultation, having shown my insurance card 3 times before meeting with the doctor, and after all of that they told me I was out of network. It ended up being a huge waste of my time and I now have to start all over to find a new doctor in network for me.
