Purchased a set of Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires for my truck (2012 Nissan Frontier), and am disappointed with both the service and performance/ride. I went out on a limb and deviated from my standard tire dealer (LS), and am now having regrets. After install, the tires looked great - really good looking set, but after a few minutes of driving, I noticed a bunch of wheel shake (~65mph), and bouncing (~37 & 67mph). I took it back to Commercial Tire, and they said they found a tire slightly out of balance. After another week, I was back in for the exact same thing (issue never went away), and they said they found a bulge in one of the back tires, and warranty exchanged it (made it sound like they were doing me a favor). These tires also do not track as good as the BFGs that came on it (even though they were nearing end-of-life). They some times feel like I have an alignment issue, even though Commercial Tire checked for me.
The thing that surprises me most is that the 'balance' and bulge issues were not discovered during installation - especially during the spin-balance process. I shouldn't have to take my vehicle in several times to get issues corrected that should have been done at install. Pretty frustrating experience, that makes me thing 2x before 'trying' a different tire and dealer.
