The nurses and doctor did not take hardly any time to listen to my concerns or to fully explain the diagnosis and the plan for recommended care. I feel like a lot of assumptions were made about how my injury happened instead of really listening to me and my pain history, and I wish I had more time to process and ask questions during the appointment. Also, in diagnosing the problem the doctor significantly increased the daily pain level in my foot to where it has become almost impossible to function without pain. Before seeing him I was managing my pain level, but now I mostly walk with a limp because of the way he was manipulating the damaged joint. I wish I had never gone to see the doctor.
