Dr. Chung and Stacey are extra thorough and gentle with the examination and my new fillings! They also give the best advice! Best dental experience I've had so far!

Dina is my favorite dental hygienist. She always makes sure I'm comfortable and she takes great care in helping patients feel at ease. The quality of her work is excellent and I appreciate that she doesn't scold me for neglecting my oral hygiene care. She is caring, encouraging, and offers great suggestions.

The employees at the front desk did not give me a warning that I was going over my maximum benefit for my insurance prior to receiving the services. All offices I have previously visited are very upfront with their patients in case the patient would prefer to wait until the next benefit period. There was no discussion about this whatsoever about this and I'm very disappointed. I won't be returning to this office.

Cosmetic Dentistry Associates replied:

We sincerely apologize that your recent experience with us didn't leave you with a positive experience and if there were any miscommunications. There can be a number of different reasons where, we as dental office do not know if you've maxed out because there has been treatment rendered outside of our office or there are situations in which it may be necessary to add or change procedures during treatment because of conditions found while working on the teeth that were not discovered during the examination. It is in our routine, to review such information with our patients regarding their treatment estimates prior to rendering treatment, but unless we are notified of any changes in insurance by the patient we cannot predict the outcome of payment or non-payment by the dental insurance provider. Insurance is not a guarantee of payment. In the end, it is the patient's responsibility to know their coverage. Since we do not know if the current dental coverage may have ended due to several reasons; patient changed employers, patient HR did not file information properly, patient chose to switch to HMO and etc. Please kindly contact us so we can help resolve this issue and possibly restore your relationship with the practice. We hope that our health focused painless dentistry will make it worth the effort. We do sincerely apologize again for the misinformation. We always strive to perfect our services. Thank you and we appreciate your honest feedback.

Dina was excellent. I was anxious since I hadn't been in for a cleaning in some time, but she put me at ease and did a great job! Looking forward to my next (and more timely) cleaning!
