I felt like the sales tactics used were very misleading, cottongim was attempting to sell me a unit that was undersized but thousands of dollars higher than other bids I received for much larger units that were better suited to handle the square footage of my home so I obviously choose not to use cottongim, however I am convinced that cottongim is detacaded to doing high quality work and are very capable of meeting the needs of their customers, but it does pay to shop around.
I don't know how we can mislead a customer when we actually performed a heat gain/ heat loss load calculation which determines the correct sized system to heat and cool the home. We have been in business for 53 years and it's not due to misleading our customers. We take great care and planning to provide the best products and services for our customers. We guarantee our systems to provide the best comfort with the lowest energy consumption and if the customer is not satisfied we will install something that does. When shopping for service related services the price is the last determining factor to getting a high quality job performed. Low cost and quality can not be used in the same sentence. There were no sales tactics or misleading being done here. Maybe I failed to convey to the customer the true quality in what we had to offer.
