Everyone is always very friendly. They always discuss what they want to do and give you a price before doing anything.

Far too concerned with money more so than showing concern for your pet. Make you sign an inflated estimate before vet will see you. THEN they keep all your payment cards on file which should never be allowed unless given authorization. I had them charge my card but they accidentally charged my 16 year old son’s debit card which NEVER should have been kept on file. He never would have approved that nor would I have allowed that. He picked up one dog that they had microchipped so he just paid not knowing they kept our card on file and they just kept it in the system.

Hampton Cove Animal Hospital replied:

Thank you for your response. I apologize we communicated that money was a greater concern that your pet at your visit. We do want to always give pet owners an estimate with the best care possible including the price of that so you can discuss any options with our team and make informed decisions on the best way to move forward with care.

It is not our protocol to keep any card on file without authorization and also a card on file should not be used without authorization from the client for the transaction. I would love to discuss this in more detail with you if you would be willing to give me a call at 256-533-3385 ext. 2
