I have been going to this dentist my whole life and never have had a bad experience. But this time was a little upsetting. First, my appointment had been schedule for Friday. I got a call on Wednesday saying my hygenist was out of the office all week. This was super short notice and I had to make arrangements for work so I could make an appointment the next day. Then at my appointment the water apparently was not working in the room I was in so I only got half the cleaning I usually get. It was also more painful because it was a cleaning just with the metal pic. Also when I got to my car and looked into a mirror, I had blood spatter on my face and nobody had told me. But Before I left I had spoken to Jennifer to schedule my next appointment and had some insurance questions and she was extremely helpful and offered me additional support. So I was very appreciative of that. This review is not a reflection of Dr JJ.

I was not informed that Hospi and JJ would not be there. I would have changed my appointment. In the past when JJ has not been there, Hospi has another Dentist do the check up. I feel I did not get a proper appointment. The hygienist was nice but did not do as thorough of a job as Hospi. She only did hand cleaning. I am disappointed in this treatment after being a patient for over ten years.

Dr. Hsaio is an excellent optometrist. Her warm personality make clients young and old feel comfortable with the exam. She takes the time to examine other areas of my eyes and she noticed I was regularly rubbing my eyes. She suggested I clean my lashes with a clean washcloth, not fingers, to remove bacteria/itchiness. She also suggested I wear sunglasses outdoors or while exercising outdoors to protect from harmful rays, over time. I love that there are frames to choose from that are specifically designed for "Asians" which I'm assuming means for those with "low, or short, bridges", a term I learned decades ago. My family also sees Dr. Chow and Dr Wu, who I also highly recommend. The staff at the front desk are also great, esp. Annie.
