Everyone was nice but I was told the checkup costs $140 or so per dog but when I went to check out it was $1300. Big difference. I understand that the meds add to the cost but u was given a false sense of security on the price.

I tried to call you today and could not reach you. I am concerned with the experience you had at my hospital on May 15th. Your on line rating said you were quoted 140 dollars per dog for their yearly checkups. This is an accurate quote. You also stated that you were charged 1300 dollars. My review of the records show a bill for 849 dollars. The heartworm medication, flea control, arthritis medication and wormer for tapeworms came to about 492 dollars. This high cost is reflected in the large size of the dogs seen. Please let me know if you were charged 1300 dollars. If there was a 450 dollar overcharge I need to do an internal audit and find out where the extra charges went. I would appreciate your help in this matter. I have been practicing here in Dacula for over 30 years and while we are all human and make mistakes I have always tried to rectify those that we make if possible. Hi, yes the 849 is what the final cost ended up being after I gave back half of the medication. I understand that the medication was going to cost more but I didn?t know it would be that much more. It was just a shock that the price was far above what I expected.
A similar situation happened before when I brought Rox in to be fixed. I was told one price over the phone and when I went to pick him up and pay the price was way higher than what I was told. That particular time the price I was told over the phone was honored and I did appreciate it.
Everyone there is nice and kind and I am not mad at anyone. I just am concerned with the way the prices are expressed to the customers and then when it comes time to pay it is far more than what was told.
