Everyone was nice but I was told the checkup costs $140 or so per dog but when I went to check out it was $1300. Big difference. I understand that the meds add to the cost but u was given a false sense of security on the price.

Dear Mr. Smith,
I tried to call you today and could not reach you. I am concerned with the experience you had at my hospital on May 15th. Your on line rating said you were quoted 140 dollars per dog for their yearly checkups. This is an accurate quote. You also stated that you were charged 1300 dollars. My review of the records show a bill for 849 dollars. The heartworm medication, flea control, arthritis medication and wormer for tapeworms came to about 492 dollars. This high cost is reflected in the large size of the dogs seen. Please let me know if you were charged 1300 dollars. If there was a 450 dollar overcharge I need to do an internal audit and find out where the extra charges went. I would appreciate your help in this matter. I have been practicing here in Dacula for over 30 years and while we are all human and make mistakes I have always tried to rectify those that we make if possible. Please call me tomorrow at 770-963-9949 or send me an email and let me know if we made a mistake.

Hi, yes the 849 is what the final cost ended up being after I gave back half of the medication. I understand that the medication was going to cost more but I didn?t know it would be that much more. It was just a shock that the price was far above what I expected.
A similar situation happened before when I brought Rox in to be fixed. I was told one price over the phone and when I went to pick him up and pay the price was way higher than what I was told. That particular time the price I was told over the phone was honored and I did appreciate it.
Everyone there is nice and kind and I am not mad at anyone. I just am concerned with the way the prices are expressed to the customers and then when it comes time to pay it is far more than what was told.

We've been bringing all of our pets to DAH for over 20 years. We always get a thorough answer and good results with their Healthcare. We have had 3 pets live to 15 years or older ( two of whom lived to almost 18 years old). Thank you DAH for keeping our fur babies healthy.

Dacula Hospital is the best veterinarian clinic in the area. I have an African Gray, Doberman, German Shepherd, and a big lovable orange cat. Dr. Montgomery is the best! My animals and birdie are never afraid of going to the Vet. Dr. Montgomery has a wonderful bedside manner with his furry and feathered patients. We’ve been going to Dacula Animal Hospital for many years. If you want healthy pets, take your pets to Dacula and let them meet Dr. Montgomery and staff. You will be glad you did!!

Dr. Montgomery & all the staff here are very caring & patient when you ask a lot of questions. Just found out my dog has diabetes. I asked a lot of questions. Their prices are the best I've found. Highly recommend!

I've been bringing my cat to Dacula Animal Hospital for thirteen years and I have been 100% satisfied with any type care or procedure she's ever had. They've been in business for many years and when you walk in, the lobby is always clean and there is always a smile on the face of whomever is checking you in. It is not one of the 'Uber' hospitals, with thousands of dollars of fancy, modern furniture and decorations, but they have always been so reasonable with the cost of treating your animals that I'd rather realize the savings than look at an expensive painting! I've seen each doctor over the years and feel just as comfortable with seeing a 'new' doctor as with any of the docs that have been there since day one. I would highly recommend ANYONE who wants themselves and their pets to be treated with the utmost of care and compassion.

Over the years DAH has helped us care for at least six pets. They are always very professional and concerned to help the pet owners. We are have another new fur friend in the family, and our first stop was DAH! Excellent visit, as always!
