Very happy with our service at Dale's. We were driving into Vancouver for the weekend from out of town and developed an issue with our truck. It was the New Year's holiday weekend and we were driving back home on the Monday so we were concerned that we would be out of luck. We googled mechanics that were open 7 days a week and found Dale's. They provided us with a courtesy car and got us fixed up on that same Saturday. Would definitely recommend.
My recent visit (13-14 Feb 2018) was my 4th. The other 3 were 28 Jan 2006 (alignment [Jason] after lift by Dave at T&S), 7 July 2006 (alignment check [Jason]) and 6 June 2009 (alignment [Jeff]). Dave suggested you for my alignment. Toyota may also have recommended you. Toyota has given me some very good recommendations.
My experience was very good. I appreciate the knowledge and experience that you all have, your explanations of why you source your parts where you do and showing me visually what the problem is and why it needs to be repaired. And for the longer repairs, your offer of a courtesy rental car pretty much eliminates the inconvenience of having your truck in the shop.
I've talked to Mike about some further work. The front struts are rusty as were the rear shocks. Also, I have seized control arms? So, I'll be back soon (perhaps next week) to see where we go from here. The Tundra is 12 years old, but low mileage and very clean; well worth repairing, cheaper than buying a new vehicle.
Very professional and knowledgeable. Honest! Example: where one entire hour of labour was not utilized, they will discount to reflect actual time used. Very friendly. I was exploring HID options for my vehicle, and rather than spending more money on lights, they recommended the more affordable halogen lights. Most other places would have tried to upsell regardless.
