Gordon was great!! He did s consultation and when he finished my hair was flawless. I received a lot of compliments on my hair. Took some of his cards when I left the salon and gave them out to people at a Wine Event when they asked who did my hair. 5 stars!!!!!! Thank you, Gordan.

For my hair, Gordon is a great (5-star) recommendation by JR. My hair has been done so far (and I have been happy for the last year and a half I’ve since been coming) by Dan, JR, Elizabeth, and Nicola. I appreciate the mid cycle trim option they give us, though I rarely have time for that but the option is there.

The 1-star is that I’ve been back 3 cycles for a hair cut and the product I regularly get, a compact foundation, has been out all those 3 cycles. I’ve never had this issue with an Aveda salon before. You tell the check out person that you need that product and the next time you’re back, it’s ready or they will phone you when it’s ready. I tell the check out person each time and there’s no solution. I do not know why tell me they’re noting it down. But for what? Twice I was suggested to get it online and once to get it on EBay or Amazon. Seriously? Your check out staff need training what Aveda products are, where to get them, and actually provide a real solution. But telling your clients to go get it on EBay is a joke. Sure, you may get it there but why would I want to? Either you carry it or you don’t. Would you still be a full service Aveda or not? That’s why I come to your store. The service experience that we enjoyed by coming to an Aveda (specifically this Aveda) is ruined by this lack of training. I’ve been an Aveda client in 3 states for 10 years. I do understand it’s been transitioning; I am aware of business changes. It can’t be transitioning forever though.

Right now, I would certainly recommend coming for a cut and style. But I would not recommend getting your Aveda products here. The disingenuity in your recent service is frustrating and the “Aveda” experience is subpar.

I hope you appreciate my honesty (and perhaps improve on your storefront) that’s why I’m posting a truthful feedback. But I honestly feel that the last 3 or 4 cycles of transaction here after my haircut has been that this is not an Aveda experience. I’ll come back for a cut because I’m happy with my hair cut but other than that, I’m out.

The staff and doctor were friendly, courteous and professional in their treatment of Jack. We were traveling through the area and they agreed to see Jack and check out my concern. Jack was given an exam, medication and released. When we got to our destination he was sleepy and relaxed. This morning he is his old self feeling fine and eating well. I really appreciated the folks at San Marco seeing him since he is not a regular patient.
