We thank you for your comments. Since the crankshaft position sensor was old, brittle, stuck and breaking apart upon removal, the starter had to be removed as a first attempt to gain better access to the sensor. Next, the sensor continued to break off in pieces; the body of the sensor would spin as an attempt to drill it out didn't work either. The final resolution was to push the sensor out from inside the crank case, requiring removal of the lower and upper oil pans. We kept you informed along each step of the way. The vehicle does have a number of codes and issues. The body items, along with scuffs and blemishes were noted on the Courtesy Inspection.
