D B's Service Center replied:
Once Wendy's car was back at the shop,we found out the transmission failed. She asked if we test drive vehicles when done with the repairs, I told her yes, but her vehicle did not act up within the block that we took it. We did tell her that the transmission fluid was black and the recommendation for 100K service was due and they did not want to do the fluid service at this time. They are aware that the transmission failure was not from the work that we preformed, just coincidental timing.
