Although I am glad that Optometrist Stephanie noticed and alerted us to her concerns, Nathan was told he might have eye cancer without a parent present. I, the parent, was told in the waiting room in front of all the other patients. The little girl next to me got big eyes when she heard us receive the news. I didn't feel that was the time and place to discuss such scary and personal issues. Next time I would like to get called into a room to discuss it privately, with Nathan, but not after Nathan was told.
I did think Marilyn was an exceptional employee. I also liked the receptionist.
