Decatur Eye Center has been providing quality eye care for families in the Decatur Community and surrounding areas for over 25 years.
Dr. Fries M.S., O.D, a retina specialist and two ophthalmologists, work closely together as a team to give you the attention you deserve when you are dealing with a vision problem. They provide a thorough evaluation of your vision and eye health, which enables them to diagnose and treat the eye problems you are afflicted with . As a glaucoma specialist, Dr. Fries M.S., O.D is trained in such advanced technologies as Optical Coherence Tomography.

From the time my daughter and I walked in the door we were treated like family. Everyone was wonderful. Dr. Fries made us feel comfortable and he had the best bedside manners. The young lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and very helpful. Dr. Fries's assistant made her part of the exam fun and laid back. The sweetheart who helped us pick out our glasses, despite our eyes being dialated and us acting kinda goofy, was very knowledgeable and clearly explained all the things we needed to know to make an educated decision. ALL of those young ladies were kind, friendly, helpful and really did make us feel like family! Dr. Fries will be our forever doctor now. You just can't beat the customer service!.....and he doesn't charge an arm and a leg either!
