Delaware Tire Center was founded in 1968 by the late James W. Baxter. As a hardworking, honest, dedicated business and family man, he created a successful and expanding business which has thrived over the years due to his commitment to his customers and his high standards of integrity. These characteristics have now been passed on to his sons, James Baxter, Jr., and Mathew Baxter, who have taken over the operations since their father's death in 2003. As owners of a family business, Jay and Matt pride themselves on following in their Dad's traditions with a company wide commitment to outstanding service, upfront pricing, and guaranteed satisfaction. This is my second visit to Delaware Tire - Dover. The first time was in January of 2017. That time, I came to Delaware Tire - Dover because I had a flat, and the local Wal-mart refused to put on a new tire for me, because they had a waiting list. I did a simple Google search and found Delaware Tire, which was very close to Wal-mart. I am so glad that I made the decision to come to Delaware Tire, because I got good, quality service, and my new tire was replaced, and I was in and out in about an hour.
Since the service was so good earlier this year, I decided to return to Delaware Tire last week, when my car's tire pressure indicator was malfunctioning. Sure enough, I walked right into the store, was helped immediately, and, once again, was out of the store within an hour. The gentleman at the service desk, as on my previous visit, was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He kept me abreast of what was happening with my car, including making sure I knew the cost of the service before the work began.
From now on, all of my tire service will be done at this location of Delaware Tire. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and they give their customers a "fair shake." I cannot recommend them highly enough.
