About
A prosthodontist is an expert in the replacement and restoration of teeth. In addition to the demanding study completed in dental school, prosthodontists are required to complete an additional three years of specialized training. This additional training allows them to handle more extensive cases including full mouth reconstruction and rehabilitation. Many general dentists often refer more complicated cases to the prosthodontist.
