My experience on my last appointment was not good. The impression it left me was one on unprofessional conduct. I was exposed to 2 X-Rays, one of a front tooth that had an X-ray approximately 6 months ago, the second was a different tooth outside of my plan limits. In all my years of dental care, this has never happened to me. There was no value in any of the X-rays, on the contrary I feel that I have unnecessarily been exposed to radiation which I do not appreciated. The dentist in my care, casually shrugged off my concern for another X-ray at time of treatment. My thoughts at that time was of somewhat disbelief, as I was wearing lead bib around my neck. I know first hand that x-ray radiation is not good for any one, considering I have family members suffering from cancer. My expectation is that a doctor take the time to review my chart, even more worry some is the fact that my front tooth X-ray was not on file. I have made it clear on many occasion, that I expect my dentistry care to be within the limits of my dental plan. To be charged for one X-ray, and be told that the front X-ray would not be charged left me with a feeling that your patient care process lacks control. I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously, as I as a customer do not plan to pay, for what I believe is a mistake on the part of the dentist.
