The doctor and the nurse practitioner I met with was extremely nice, friendly, and patient with me during our consultation. It was more of a conversation that put me at ease and made me feel they truly wanted to get to know me and my husband and not just our bodies.
However, the young lady at the reception desk was short with her responses and seemed annoyed to be there. I walked in, signed in and sat down and then realized on the closed glass doors that there was a sign to let them know you were here. I stood back up at the closed windows for over 5 minutes then sat back down again. When she got to her desk I went back up. She slightly opened the windows, I introduced myself and she started texting (I saw her screen). She told me someone would be with me soon and she closed the partition again. I just felt it wasn’t as welcoming I was expecting it to be for being a Infertility office. I was already anxious going there and what to expect. I was hoping to be welcomed with a smile or at least a “good morning”.
If my appointment didn’t go as well as it did with the doctor, I would’ve found another Infertility office because of the receptionist.
