The dentist I saw, Dr. Lee, I believe was a bit abrupt as though she was in a hurry. Having seen many dentists in the past fifty years or so , I would have to say she was hurried in her checking of the depths of my gums and therefore I experienced quite a bit of unnecessary pain during the procedure. After filling two teeth she didn't take the time to check my bite with the marking paper they use to confirm an accurate bite until I told her the filling was high. Most other dentists do this check as a normal part of the procedure to insure a proper bite. I am quite familiar with dental work because I worked in a dental lab when I was in my twenties. Slow down and check your work thoroughly would be my suggestion.
