I purchased a beautiful 3 stone Asscher cut diamond ring that I saw on the internet from Diamond Scaasi several years ago. My experince was super, I would not trade my ring for anything and everyone I had any contact with so very wonderful to me. If I was going to purchase another diamond it would be from Diamond Scaasi. Thank you for your review--we regret that you feel your experience was anything but fair. However, we believe you will find that if you have the ring serviced through any Gelin Abaci authorized retailer in the future, you will have a similar time frame for repair with a large repair fee.
Your original invoice states the ring must be sent to Gelin Abaci for repair as it is specialty tension setting. This is work only the manufacturer can do and we do not have control over their time line. It may be beneficial for you to look into getting a quote from a local Gelin Abaci retailer in your area. This way you can avoid the shipping fees to and from Chicago in the future. We believe you will find we were more than reasonable with the cost to you for the shipping and repair.
To date the ring was shipped and repaired for a total of $270.00, all of which has been covered by dimend SCAASI. The only charge we cannot cover is shipping from/to you, as we cannot cover shipping costs after customers move out of state.
Still, our priority was to get the ring back to you right away and we have shipped it without delay trusting you will cover the small shipping & insurance fee.
