Direct Optical & Hearing Superstore is the largest independently owned and operated optical store , optometry practice and hearing services provider in the Metro Detroit area. Since 1989, owner Dennis Chaiken, the doctors and staff of Direct Optical & Hearing have brought their passion along with quality eyewear to customers at affordable prices.
For over 28 years Direct Optical & Hearing's family business has serviced customers from all over the metropolitan Detroit area as well as Ohio, Florida, New York, Ilinois and beyond. Our clientele, much like our business, is generational. It's about family. We know the families that shop here: Grandparents, parents, kids and cousins. Customer service is our top priority, our staff knows each patient and in return our patients ask for our opticians/frame stylists by name.
