I was grateful DiVerde staff honored my request to work with Alyse as my chosen hygenist. I have been with Alyse close to 15 years and ask for her every time. For my December visit, though I asked for her repeatedly in emails and phone calls to schedule the time, somehow an arbitrary decision was made to schedule me with someone else without my knowledge. The DiVerde team caught that and called me to offer me the choice to choose a different time so I can work with Alyse. I very much appreciated the respect shown to me to let me make the choice -keep my time but with someone else or change my time to get Alyse. Small businesses work hard to maintain customer loyalty. That loyalty is based on service relationships that matter. Obtaining that loyalty means being careful not to lose it. I was actually thinking, based on my last experience with DiVerde (in August), where a change of hygenist was made last minute with no email nor call to me to ask my preference --change my time to get Alyse or stay with time and get someone else --I know emergencies can happen, that this time if DiVerde did it to me again, I was going elsewhere because clearly DiVerde did not value to honor my request. I had already started asking my husband's dentist to see if she could fit me in. Thankfully, DiVerde staff stepped in and I was given a choice respectfully, which I appreciated. By telling me your staff is interchangeable, you are telling me that I am interchangeable too.
